Hi jobbryc and all who will be visiting south Florida for the football games and other fun. South beach will be one big party during the next few weeks. There is only one
mp on Miami Beach and that is Jee Jee
Spa. I will give no recommendations but suggest you read all of the reviews on the
mp(s) you go to. As far as a soapy massage like you mentioned there is only one place in south Florida that I know offers this and that is Vogue in Fort Lauderdale. If you go make sure you read the wallet issue in the reviews as I experienced this several years ago when I last went there. Carry a zip lock plastic bag with you and keep your valuables with you at all times. Most Asian places down here that offer table showers, steam rooms and the like provide you with a plastic zippered bag. Vogue is not Asian. It's at least 25 miles from south beach to Vogue so use a rental car or public transportation. If going public, take the S bus from Miami Beach to downtown Miami Government center. Transfer to Metrorail (elevated train) and take metrorail north to the tri-rail (ground rail train) station. Take tri-rail train north to the Cypress Creek Road tri-rail station. Vogue is less than one quarter mile from station. It is a low crime area so a walk is possible or a short cab ride.
For those of you who like to gamble, a good place to go would be the Seminole Hard
Rock Casino in Hollywood. Only the Seminole Indian Casinos offer table (not electronic) black jack as they have an exclusive deal with the state of Florida. Florida is finally coming out of the dark ages as far as gambling goes so don't expect a Las Vegas if you go. If you do go take the tri-rail train to the Fort Lauderdale Airport station and then take the #15 bus which stops at the Casino. If you win big and have extra money in your pocket you might want to check the reviews on Kayla's Aromatherapy located about one quarter mile away. Kayla's is not Asian but there are Asian places also located nearby. Kayla's is full service.
If you go public transportation make sure you check times and schedules as most public transportation down here doesn't run late at night so start early in the day. Here are some websites you might want to check out for transportation and gambling.

Another thing you guys might want to do is pick up a copy of "New Times" magazine when you get to south Florida. It's free and can be found at news stands or where newspapers are sold. In it you will find things to do while you are in south Florida. It's advertisers are bars, nightclubs, strip clubs, massage parlors, and escorts.
