There is nothing wrong with selective. Everyone needs to protect themselves. The points you have made about verification on this site make a lot of sense. Unfortunately, there is no real industry standard for an unorganized industry. This makes it harder for everyone.

I've been at this long enough and am old enough that I am willing to provide any requested info to an established provider, but I'm not sure others are.
