Just got word this week I'm moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota in February, one of those business things. I've been out of the loop for a while, no need as I pretty much had the home field memorized, but now I'm starting from scratch. Needless to say I'll be looking at some reviews lads, but anything in the way of advice will be appreciated. My main concerns are,

1. I don't like dealing with places that are open for a few months and then disappear, are there some good places that seem to stick around a while?

2. I had a buddy in the wrong place at the wrong time and got a ride in a black and white taxi out here. Biggest problem was he lost his job over the deal, I can't afford that outcome, how's the LE out there?

3. And for God's sakes, why can't I get moved some place with a pennent contending baseball team.

As far as LE goes if they have nothing better to do they'll go bust someone just not the ones paying them off. They obviously know of this site and look at it, they just choose not to do much about it.

As far as the Baseball thing goes, it isn't just baseball, with the exception of the LYNX our pro teams all need work.

As far as the parlor info goes... sorry to tell you this but if you aren't a VIP you'll need to become one and do some research, if you can't afford the VIP membership you can't afford the tips. Just giving it to you straight.

If you want to learn how to be "Minnesotan" listen to "A Prairie Home Companion." You might have to convert to Lutheranism to be fully accepted socially.
As far as baseball is concerned Minnesota might have to wait until everyone gets healthier...they seemed so close to taking it all just a few years ago. They do have a nice stadium for baseball.
As far as AMPs...you may want to try a place in Hudson, Wisconsin...some reviews seem positive. I think it's 30-35 miles from Minneapolis.

I have observed that some Minnesotans keep to themselves, very sheltered. I talked to one today who lives in Minneapolis and has never heard of Paul Ryan(true story); and she voted in Minnesota in the November elections.

Since you aren't a VIP I'll toss you a free bit of info... around the end of the month, when the welfare check runs out, check out University Avenue in St. Paul at night. Wow, good to know, that's the sort of thing I'm looking for as much as anything, where to avoid letting the boys out for the night. I usually avoid full service anyway, unless I know someone real well. Things can happen a little too fast for my liking and I was only issued one set of these. Thanks sugarsong.

And, my car's used but it's paid for, I'd rather stay behind the wheel myself, thanks. I'll bump up to VIP once the move is a little closer, no need to pay for what may end up being older info.
